PLEASE NOTE:  As of this time (2022) we are not running any "in person" camps over the summer.  However, we are developing some really sweet online learning opportunities that will launch in Fall 2022 and will let you know about them soon.  We hope to run more camps in the post-pandemic future, where we will hug you all!

The Annual Fiddleworks camps are for all ages, and are a lot more than just fiddle!  All abilities from first time to advanced players are warmly invited to choose classes in a large variety of instruments (fiddle, viola, cello, guitar, double bass, voice, accordion, banjo, piano, percussion, art, dance, storytelling, and more).

Our camps kick off with an Instructors Showcase Concert, a truly inspiring way to start off the week and meet your camp mentors. Each day of camp has a planned schedule of classes and events with plenty of time to rest, eat and revel in the beautiful community spirit of Fiddleworks camps.

Our camps wouldn't be the same without our instructors. Each year we invite world-class musicians and ensembles to form the Fiddleworks instructor team. Past instructors have included Laura Cortese, Daniel Lapp, Jayme Stone, Marc Atkinson, Gordon Stobbe, Mark Sullivan, Erynn Marshall and many more. From music making basics to fine tuning technique and style, they cater to all levels and abilities.

Other evening events, which the public are invited to attend, include community dances and the Student Gala Celebration on the last night of camp.

All participants are encouraged to volunteer and give back to the camp community, performing random acts of kindness, helpfulness, and goodwill.  We also share our music with the unsuspecting public through Random Acts of Violins (come to camp to find out more!)

Our camps offer onsite accommodation options and meals. All lunches, accommodations and meals are prepaid, but you can save your pocket change for 'The Snack Shack' which offers healthy, scrumptious tidbits to keep all our campers happy and fuelled for fiddling.

Fiddleworks camps also offer Instructor CD's, books, t-shirts etc in "The Merch Zone".  We also have our own resident Luthier, the lovely Laura Wallace, who is onsite all week to fix instruments, repair bows, and sell you strings, rosin, instruments etc.
